DAY 1: HANOI

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet and greet by our representatives and onward transfer to hotel. Hanoi, an ancient town, was the capital of the Ly Dynasty from 1010 till 1820. Later the capital was shifted to Hue with the arrival of the Nguyen Dynasty. Hanoi became the capital of French Indo-China between 1902 and 1954, and then became the capital of independent North Vietnam till 1975, and since 1976 is the capital of Vietnam. DAY 2: HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Morning, city tour to visit Hochiminh Complex, this complex  comprises the Mausoleum of the nation’s founder Hochiminh (closed on Monday, Friday and the whole months of October-November), the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, transfer to Hanoi then continue to visit Hoan Kiem with Ngoc Son Temple, take 1-hour Cyclo trip around with 36 streets of Ha Noi old quarter and enjoy the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long theatre.

Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 3: HANOI – HA LONG – HANOI

Breakfast/ Lunch/Dinner 

After an early breakfast at hotel, transfer to Halong via vehicle  (160km driving one way – 3.5hrs drive). This will be your first opportunity to see some of the rural areas of Vietnam. The drive goes through the Red River delta, so we’ll have plenty of chance for taking photo of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy field. At half way, we will have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes and embroidered paintings.

Upon arrival at Halong, embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting four (4) hour cruise will provide a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way the cruise boat will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Enjoy lunch onboard the cruise. Later transfer back to Hanoi.

DAY 4: HANOI – DEPARTURE

tilling the vast green paddy field. At half way, we will have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes

and embroidered paintings. With a quick rest stop en route, you will reach Halong City. Arrival in Halong at

11:30 (Depending on your choice of junk)
