day 2:  hochiminh

Morning, we will take a full day Sai Gon city tour: Visit Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975 and War Remnant Museum – contains countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting American war crimes Such documents illustrate the killing of civilians, speading of chemicals, torturing of prisisoners, and the effects of the war on the north. Lunch at local restaurant. Overland to Vung Tau, beautiful seaside resort with golden sandy beaches and warm water all year round.

Arrival Vungtau, check in and free at leisure for swimming and relaxing at the beaches. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Vung Tau.

day 3: vung tau – hochiminh

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Morning, city tour to visit the Summer Palace of the Emperor Bao Dai, the Jesus Monument, which overlooks the Peninsula and the Pacific Ocean. Next, visit Whale Temple Christ Hill, Goddes of Mercy, Thuy Van Beach.  Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, drive back Hochiminh city and free for shopping.

DAY 3:  Ho Chi Minh City – MEKONG DELTA (MYtho)

Today we take an excursion to My Tho.  We will be traveling past miles of flat rice fields, along a bustling High Way. On arrival at My Tho, we embark on a boat to Thoi Son Island where we will be entertained with traditional music.  We will then change to a paddle boat to cruise through the narrow canals and visit home grown industries like coconut candy and rice-wine making. We next travel by motorized boat to another Mekong island to visit a bee farm and try tea with fresh honey from the beehives and enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands. As we return to My Tho there will be a visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda.

Lunch at local restaurant then drive back Hochiminh city.

DAY 4: HOCHIMINH CITY

Continue to visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office , former US Embassy, City Hall, China Town and the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai), one of the most interesting pagodas in Vietnam. End of the day we concludes with a stroll through the famous Ben Thanh Market, whose clock tower over the main entrance to what was formerly known as Les Halles Centrale is the symbol of Saigon. Opened first in 1914, it features one-way aisles loaded with people clamoring to sell you cheap goods (T-shirts, aluminum wares, silk, bamboo, and lacquer) and postcards.

day 3:  hochiminh – TAYNINH – CUCHI TUNNEL

Morning, an excursion to Tay Ninh.  Tay Ninh is located to the southwest of Vietnam. It shares a border with Cambodia in the west and north. It is surrounded by Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Binh Phuoc, and Binh Duong. The main ethnic groups are Kinh, Cham, and Khmer.  Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, continue the journey to Cu Chi Tunnels. visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels.

DAY 4:  Ho Chi Minh City – VINHLONG – CANTHO

Breakfast/Lunch/ Dinner

Morning, pick up at your hotel and transfer about 136km to Vinhlong, a riverside town located in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat cruise to the Caibe floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchangeing goods from their boats, and then to Hoa Binh Phuoc islet where the maze o shady creeks will surely fascinate you. You will have a change to mighle with local peasants, learn the secrets of their bonsai gardening. Visit local homes where the famillies produce tiles and ceramics; drop into rice-paper kiln and coconut-candy kiln; and observe daily country life. Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon we have 2 hours riding on immense rice fields, cycling through numerous rural riverside villages before our bus pick up to Can Tho city.

DAY 5:  CANTHO – HOCHIMINH

The watery world of the Mekong Delta is home to many bustling floating markets. This day we take a boat trip exploring the vibrant floating market of Cai Rang, which the trading way is unique; each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it be pumpkins, pineapples, sugar canes. Then bike back country roads 2 hrs to enjoy the beautiful Delta scenery and meet the locals. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, drive back Hochiminh city and free at leisure.
